Author Biography

Caroline Edward Ayad

Dr. Caroline Edward Ayad is an Associate Professor of Diagnostic Radiology at the College of Medical Radiological Science, Sudan University of Science and Technology. With a PhD in Diagnostic Radiology, she has dedicated her career to advancing medical imaging research, particularly within the Sudanese population. Her work spans a wide range of topics including the sonographic establishment of local reference values for spleen length in children, characterization of maxillary sinus pathology using ultrasound, and evaluation of lumbar lordotic angles in patients with disc prolapse. She has also contributed to MRI-based studies on hippocampal characterization in epileptic children and renal tissue texture analysis. Dr. Ayad's research has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals, reflecting her commitment to improving diagnostic accuracy and healthcare outcomes in Sudan.
