Abstract

In our work, we retrospectively studied 1270 cases of childbirth fetal macrosomia for a period of one year from 1st January 2014 to 31 December 2014 in the delivery room of the Souissi#x2019;s maternity CHU Ibn Sina of Rabat. #x2022; About 18470 births in 1270 were macrosomic, (a frequency of 6, 87%). The mean birth weight was 4346.45 + -354,83 grammes. #x2022; The highest rate was observed in parturients : #xF0D8; in the age bracket of 26-35 years with (49.13%). #xF0D8; multiparts (67,9%) #xF0D8; fats (45,4%) #xF0D8; having an antecedent of macrosomia (19,3%) #xF0D8; having an exceeded term (12,2%) #xF0D8; often involved in the genesis of the macrosomia diabetes was found in only 2.75% of cases
