Abstract
The Aim of the Investigation Improvement of diagnostic and treatment care for obstructive jaundice OJ of tumor origin Materials and Methods Retrospective analysis of results of treatment of 441 patients with OJ of tumor origin The results of endoscopic transpapillary and or percutaneous ttranshepaticantegradeendobilliary minimally invasive surgical interventions in 439 99 5 patients were study An analysis of complications causes and passible ways to eliminate them was carried out An analysis of the currently available methods for histological verification of tumors of the head of the pancreas HP and the distal common bile duct DCBD including those that have not found their application in surgery was performed A continuous analysis of 100 contrast-enhanced MRIs was carried out for HP tumors which took into account the size and preferential localization of the tumor in relation to the hepaticocholedohus HH relation to the main pancreatic duct MPD and duodenum Based on the analysis and experience of working with this category of patients a new more effective method of trephine biopsy of the HP and the DCBD tumors and a device for its implementation have been developed by E B Revazov Ts S Khutiev patents 2722655 2747491 203490 2768480 and device for brush-biopsy of the DCBD patent 2729017
