Objectives: To know the incidence of hypocalcaemic tetany at post surgical state of total thyroidectomy. Methods: It was a cross sectional observational study among 50 patients who underwent total thyroidectomy in the Dept. of Otolaryngology and Head Neck Surgery, Sir Salimullah Medical College and Mitford Hospital
