Historical Evidence of #x201C;Printer#x2019;s Devil#x201D; in Pediatric Cancer

Abstract

#x201C;Printer#x2019;s devil#x201D; is an error introduced during the routine printing of manuscripts. In the author#x2019;s experience, this was used to determine the source of such an error with reference to reprints. In this context, since it is known that research profits from the slightest detectable error, this paper points to a printed error which occurred in 1893 in the Transactions of the Pathological Society of London.
