Abstract
Background: Preeclampsia and eclampsia are the most common causes of morbidity affecting mothers and their fetus. Aim: The aim of this study was to evaluate the impact of an educational program about preeclampsia for maternity nurses on their performance and pregnancy outcomes. Subject and methods: A quasi-experimental design was used. The subjects of the study include two groups as the following: a convenience sample of all nurses (30) who work in the obstetric and gynecological departments in Port Said Hospitals and all inpatient women diagnosed
