Background: Neurogenic or neuropathic bladder is defined as any defective functioning of the bladder caused by impaired innervations. Pernicious anemia is a rare cause of neurogenic bladder and it is often accompanied by other neurological manifestations. The standard treatment is based on parenteral vitamin administration.
